FlyWings Flight Simulator 2014 is an advanced simulation game available for iOS devices. The developers have spent years perfecting the physics of the game and are now proud to announce its release. Players can experience the thrill of flying an aircraft over the iconic city of New York, with a choice of over 16 different aircraft and more than 400 missions to complete. The game also features realistic weather conditions, including clear skies, thunderstorms, and turbulence, adding to the immersive experience.
Players can choose to become an airliner pilot, freelance pilot, military skilled pilot, or an acrobatic pilot, with 4 separate sets of planes available: learning aircraft, commercial aircraft, cargo and transportation aircraft, and military jets. Some of the planes included in the game are the Boing 747-400, Boing 757, Boing 707, Arbus A320, Cezna 172, Beech Musketeer, Leerjet 60 xr, Antonov Av-12, Antonov Av-24, British Aerospace BAE 147, F-18, F-22, MIG-29, SU-35, Antonov Av-24 Militar, and the newest addition, the Endeavour Space Shuttle.
In addition to the variety of aircraft, the game also features 8 detailed airports in New York City, including La Guardia International Airport, John F Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, and more. The world in the game is also highly detailed, with trees, buildings, clouds, water, and ocean, providing a realistic environment for players to fly in.
The game offers 16 different aircraft and 400 missions, with exclusive missions available depending on the chosen aircraft. There are also exclusive missions for military jets. The instruments in the game are functional and players can choose between two types of controls: accelerometer or touch. The instruments are also dynamic, adding to the realism of the game.
The developers have used technology provided by NASA to enhance the simulation experience. This includes using real terrain from NASA's photos and elevation, as well as using NASA's utility FoilSim 3 to calculate the physics of the airplane. Real airfoils from NASA's library, such as NACA airfoils and BAC airfoils, are also used in the game.
The game also features a real-world simulation, with weather forecast, turbulence, G-force, real clouds, and the possibility of crashes and engine fires. The developers are constantly working to improve the flight simulator experience and welcome feedback from players. A link to the privacy policy and terms of use is provided for players to review. So, get ready to take to the skies and have a nice flight, pilot!
