The app offers full access to all inner planets in the Solar System and its moons, as well as nearby star systems such as Proxima Centauri, Alpha Centauri, Sirius, and Epsilon Eridani. Partial access is also available for all solar system planets and 5 dwarf planets, as well as all confirmed exoplanetary solar systems within 50 light years.
Advanced Space Flight offers two flight modes: Realistic Flight and Free Flight. Realistic Flight uses optimised trajectories based on the orbital parameters of the origin and destination planets to minimise fuel usage. This is similar to the trajectories used in real space missions. Free Flight allows users to take manual control of a spaceship and use the engines as they see fit.
The app also features several spacecraft, including the Space Shuttle, Falcon Heavy, Nuclear Ferry, and Lewis Ion Rocket. However, only the Space Shuttle is available in the free version. Users can also explore several artificial satellites, such as Sputnik 1, Hubble Space Telescope, International Space Station, Kepler Space Observatory, TESS, and James Webb Space Telescope.

- Space Shuttle (Chemical Rocket): Designed in 1968-1972 y NASA and North American Rockwell. It has been in service from 1981 to 2011, making it the most successful reusable spacecraft ever built.
- Falcon Heavy (Chemical Rocket): Designed and manufactured by SpaceX, made its first flight in 2018.
- Nuclear Ferry (Nuclear Thermal Rocket): Designed in 1964 by Ling-Temco-Vought Inc.
- Lewis Ion Rocket (Ion Drive): Designed in a 1965 study by the Lewis Research Center.
