The Bloomberg Connects app is a free tool that allows users to plan and discover their visit to various museums and cultural spaces around the world. With the app, users can map out their visit in advance and also access quick information about unexpected finds using lookup numbers onsite. The app also offers on-demand content, bringing exhibitions and collections to life with exclusive multimedia content created by museum collaborators.
The app was created by Bloomberg Philanthropies with the goal of making art and cultural offerings more accessible to people around the world. It is not only useful for those visiting in person, but also for those who are unable to physically visit these spaces. The app can be used to discover and explore a wide range of museums and cultural spaces, including well-known institutions such as The Met, MoMA, and the Guggenheim Museum.
Bloomberg Connects is beneficial for its partners, which include over 600 museums, galleries, gardens, and cultural spaces, with more joining every month. The app provides a pre-built, user-friendly interface that can be customized to fit the content and mission of each partner. This allows for a seamless and personalized experience for users.
In addition to the app, Bloomberg Connects also has a presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Threads (@bloombergconnects). This provides users with even more inspiration and information about arts and culture.
