CFM is an online multiplayer football management game where players take on the role of a team manager representing their city. In this game, you compete against other real players or AI-controlled teams managed by bots. The matches are conducted automatically on a server, following a schedule, and the gameplay is powered by an advanced engine that simulates the sport by considering team strategies and the individual skills of each player, which total up to 40 different attributes.
The game currently features 32 countries, including popular football nations like England, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, as well as countries from around the world such as Argentina, Brazil, Australia, and the USA. Each country is structured with four divisions in its national league—promotion and relegation are active, with the top three teams moving up from lower divisions and the bottom three teams dropping down from higher divisions at the end of each season.
In addition to league play, national cups are held for each country, open to all teams, and played in knockout format. The strongest teams from each country can qualify for international competitions, such as the Cup of Cups for national cup finalists, and the Cup of Champions for the top two teams in the top division. These tournaments offer additional prestige and opportunities for teams to demonstrate their strength on larger stages.
As a manager, you start with a squad of 19 players, selecting and positioning 11 on the field for each match. Managing transfers is a key part of gameplay, allowing you to buy and sell players, coaches, scouts, and medical staff. Improving facilities like the stadium, academy, and training grounds is essential for growth, as they help attract fans, generate income, and develop young talent. Training, player recovery, and condition management are vital, requiring careful planning and the hiring of qualified coaches and physiotherapists. The game is actively evolving, and player feedback is welcomed to shape its future development.
