The Disney Genie app is designed to make your theme park visit easier and more enjoyable. It offers a personalized itinerary that updates throughout your day, as well as a Tip Board to track wait times for your favorite experiences. You can also access current and forecasted wait times for attractions, park hours, character greetings, showtimes, and more.

The app also allows you to purchase park tickets and make reservations, eliminating the need for printed e-tickets. You can even save time by using the mobile food and beverage ordering feature at select dining locations. Additionally, you can browse restaurant menus, make dining reservations, and check in for your reservation through the app. If you don't have a reservation, you can add your party to the mobile walk-up list at select restaurants (subject to availability).

The Disney Genie app also offers unlimited digital downloads of your photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers at iconic locations and select attractions when you purchase the Disney PhotoPass+ or Disney Genie+ service. You can also ask for Magic Shots, which add extra magic to your photos. The app also allows you to manage hotel reservations, start the check-in process, and receive updates for the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort.

The app features GPS-enabled maps to help you easily find what you're looking for, as well as information on park hours, schedules, accessibility, and descriptions for attractions and dining options. Magic Key holders can also link their pass to access discounts at select dining and merchandise locations. The app also notifies you when and where Disney Characters are appearing in the parks.

Some features of the app may require location data or registration with your full name, country, birthdate, and email address. If Bluetooth is enabled on your device, the app may also collect your precise location information through beacon technology to improve your in-park experience. You can also choose to receive push notifications for information related to your visit or stay at a Disney Resort hotel.

The app also allows for purchases, but you must be 18 years or older and have a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for the app can be found on the Disney website, and there are options to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Overall, the Disney Genie app is a must-have for anyone visiting a Disney theme park or staying at a Disney Resort hotel.
