When humanity faces a catastrophic global freeze threatening to wipe out civilization, they shift their consciousness into a virtual realm called Etheria to ensure their existence continues. In this digital universe, humans live alongside mysterious beings called Animus, who possess special powers known as Anima Powers. The peaceful harmony between humans and Animus is disrupted when the Genesis Virus appears, corrupting the Animus and causing them to go berserk, which endangers all life. To counter this crisis, the Hyperlinker Union is established, bringing together brave warriors to confront the rising threat.
Players step into the shoes of a Hyperlinker, embarking on their adventure within Etheria. The game features a dynamic combat system that enhances traditional turn-based battles with a variety of strategic options and a sandbox-style environment. Players can create numerous team compositions by combining different Animus abilities, issuing real-time commands, and controlling their characters freely in battles.
