Music Wars Rockstar is the newest addition to the popular Music Wars series, created by the same developer. This simulation game allows players to create their own artist and shape their story. From their appearance to their background and music genre, players have full control over their character. They can choose to partner with a label or stay independent, and build a social network with other artists to collaborate or start beef with.
With an expansive 3D character creator and 16 starting stories to choose from, players can truly create their own legacy in the music industry. They can also select from over 30 different music genres, ranging from Pop and Hip Hop to Rock and Electronica. The ultimate goal is to dominate the charts, with 12 charts spanning 4 regions and 3 release types.
Players can also aim for recognition and awards by getting nominated and winning for their singles, albums, and music videos. Utilizing social media, they can either befriend other artists or turn them into rivals. Additionally, players can create their own merch empire with customizable merch such as t-shirts, hoodies, and vinyl, and sell them at live shows or in their own webstore.
