Disney Genie is a new service offered by Disney that helps guests maximize their time at the theme parks. It creates a personalized itinerary for each guest, providing tips to reduce wait times and take the guesswork out of planning their day. This service is designed to help guests make the most of their park experience.

The app also provides real-time information on wait times, park hours, character greetings, showtimes, and more. This allows guests to plan their day accordingly and make the most of their time in the parks. The interactive, GPS-enabled map makes it easy to explore the resort and find nearby dining options, attractions, and more.

With step-by-step directions, guests can easily navigate their way around the parks. The app also allows for browsing restaurant menus, making dining reservations, modifying existing ones, and even mobile ordering meals from select locations. Guests can also download, edit, and share their Disney PhotoPass photos and videos throughout their vacation with the purchase of Memory Maker.

The app offers a search and filter feature to help guests find specific activities they are looking for. It also allows for the organization of Disney Resort hotel reservations, dining plans, and activities in one convenient location with My Day and Plans. Guests can even start their Disney Resort hotel check-in process right from the app.

By linking a MagicBand+ to their Disney account on the app, guests can unlock magical experiences throughout the parks. The app also offers a car locator feature to save parking information at select locations. Guests can manage their Disney Resort reservations, tickets, MagicBands, and cards, and share their plans with others.

The app provides official content for Walt Disney World Resort, including the four theme parks, two water parks, Disney Springs, select hotels, and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. If guests have any questions, problems, comments, or suggestions, they can reach out to the app support team.

It is important to note that some features in the app may require personal information, such as full name, country, birthdate, and email address. The app also collects location data through beacon technology to improve the in-park experience. It may also request access to the camera and external storage for certain features. Some planning tools may ask for details about the guest's travel party.

Guests should be aware that the app may require a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection for certain features, and message, data, and roaming rates may apply. The app is not available everywhere and may vary by handset or service provider. Guests must be 18 years or older to make purchases through the app.

Connecting to the Internet in the parks: Without a strong Internet signal, wait times, park hours & schedules may not update accurately. You can see if your device is connected properly by checking under Settings.
Note: Some features in this app will require your full name, country, birthdate & email address, as well as access to your location data. If Bluetooth is enabled on your device, this app will also collect your precise location information through beacon technology in order to improve your in-park experience, such as wait times. To facilitate the sign-in process, the app will also require access to your email address, stored within Account Manager.
This app may request access to your camera to capture media & scan barcodes. Some Disney PhotoPass Lenses may use information on your device to detect face & hand coordinates. The app may request access to your external storage to cache certain data for offline browsing.
Optional planning tools may also ask you to provide details about your travel party. Some features in this app include the ability to make purchases & will require a Wi-Fi or mobile carrier data connection. Message, data and roaming rates may apply. Availability subject to handset limitations and features may vary by handset or service provider. Coverage and app stores not available everywhere. Guests must be 18 years or older to make purchases.
