Users can also use Action Pan to blur the background while keeping the subject in focus, and Macro Focus for vivid colors and contrast in small subjects.
For videos, the app offers smooth recording with high resolution and clear audio, even in crowded and dimly lit places. Users can also create a cinematic effect with Cinematic Blur, slow down panning movements with Cinematic Pan, and take quick videos with Long Shot by long-pressing the shutter key in the default photo mode.
Exclusive to the Pixel 8 Pro, this app offers a 50MP High Res feature for high resolution photos with richer detail. Users can also take even more creative control with Pro Controls, allowing them to adjust focus, shutter speed, and more.
It is important to note that the latest version of this app only works on Pixel devices running Android 14 and above. The version for Wear OS only works on Wear OS 3 devices connected to Pixel phones. Some features may not be available on all devices.
