The mobile application is designed to function similarly to its desktop counterpart by utilizing the same data file. When a password is assigned, the application ensures that the file is protected with AES256 encryption, a standard in the industry for data security. Users can select a preferred cloud storage provider such as iCloud, Google Drive, or OneDrive for the synchronization of their files. Importantly, all financial transaction history remains securely on the user’s device, with all calculations carried out locally, ensuring privacy and data integrity.
This application offers a variety of features to enhance the user's experience. Users can update historical prices by utilizing the "Historical Prices" configuration for various portfolio reports, though the "Latest Price" configuration is not yet available. The app allows for the visualization of asset statements and related charts, providing insights into performance through various views and graphical representations. Additional features include earnings reports with yearly and monthly charts, taxonomies that display rebalancing information along with pie charts, and exchange rates that keep users informed of reference rate updates from the European Central Bank (ECB).
Moreover, users can filter calculations and visualizations to focus on specific accounts or classifications derived from any given taxonomy. The mobile application supports 29 out of the 46 dashboard widgets that are available in its desktop version, expanding users' access to important tools. Additionally, it provides analysis options for all reporting periods, though it currently does not support reporting periods based on trading days using a trade calendar. For an enhanced aesthetic experience, a dark mode option is also available for users.
To further enhance user engagement, the application offers an optional 'Premium' subscription. This subscription unlocks access to additional dashboards and supports the ongoing development of the application. With this premium service, users can view all dashboards created in the desktop application and have the capability to create and edit their mobile dashboards, allowing for customization according to individual information needs. It's important to note that subscription payments are charged to the user's Google Play account upon confirmation of the purchase, and that subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, providing users with flexibility in managing their accounts.
