The application, Rebel Inc., is a strategic game that takes place in a post-war country. The goal of the game is to stabilize the country by balancing military and civilian priorities, while also preventing insurgents from taking over. The game is created by the same designer as 'Plague Inc.' and is inspired by the complexities and consequences of modern counter insurgency.
The game features 7 regions that are richly modeled and require players to use innovative counter insurgency tactics. Players must also fund realistic initiatives to empower the local government and make strategic decisions based on a highly detailed and hyper-realistic world that is based on extensive research. The game also includes intelligent AI and a sophisticated narrative that is shaped by the player's decisions.
There are 8 unique governors in the game, each with their own abilities, and a comprehensive in-game help and tutorial system to assist players. The game also has full save/load functionality and does not require internet connectivity.
It is important to note that although the game is fictional, it deals with real world issues and has been developed in cooperation with regional politicians, business people, journalists, and international charities, experts, and governments. The game is also available in multiple languages.
