You can choose one of these clubs to manage from the bottom tier of the league system and work your way up through leagues and competitions, aiming for European success. Alternatively, if bigger opportunities arise, you can leave your current club for more prestigious teams, offering a chance to climb the ranks and ultimately manage some of Europe's top football giants.
The game features a highly realistic football environment with 750 clubs spread across nine European countries including England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Russia, Portugal, Turkey, and the Netherlands. Each country has its own league and cup competitions, providing a total of 64 trophies to compete for. This extensive setup allows for a diverse and immersive managerial experience, where you can test your skills across various leagues and tournaments, striving to win as many titles as possible.
A comprehensive database of 17,000 players is at your disposal, and your scouts continually report on potential signings. You have the authority to make offers to buy or loan players, using your negotiation skills to determine transfer fees and personal terms. You also control player sales, deciding whether to accept lucrative offers for your star players. Managing your squad well and making strategic transfer decisions is crucial to building a successful team and achieving your club's ambitions.
Throughout your managerial career, you need to maintain a good relationship with your chairman by meeting realistic seasonal targets, such as avoiding relegation, finishing in the top 10, or winning the league. You will be provided with a transfer and wage budget to allocate for squad improvements, but overspending can jeopardize your job security. As you gain experience and achieve success, your reputation grows, opening up opportunities to apply for managerial positions at other clubs, both domestically and abroad. You also assemble your backroom staff, including coaches, scouts, physios, and fitness trainers, to support your team’s progress. On match day, you take full control, selecting your lineup, tactics, and making in-game decisions to maximize your chances of victory, ultimately aiming to collect all 64 trophies and reach the pinnacle of football management.
