Scam Shield is an advanced network technology that helps protect users from scam and robocalls. It uses A.I., machine learning, and patented technologies to analyze every call and update its defenses every six minutes to stay ahead of scammers. This built-in protection helps identify and stop potential scam calls before they even reach your phone.
One of the key features of Scam Shield is its ability to show caller information, even if the number is not saved in your contacts. This full Caller ID access is automatically included and can be enabled by the user. This allows you to know who is calling before answering the call.
The application also includes several features to help block scam calls. Scam Block automatically blocks calls from likely scammers when turned on, preventing them from reaching your phone. Scam Reporting allows users to identify suspicious callers or fraudsters and prevent their calls from being received in the future. The Allow list feature ensures that calls from numbers on your list will never be blocked by the network and will always ring your phone.
For those looking for additional protection, Scam Shield offers premium features such as Personal Number Blocking, which allows users to block specific numbers and contacts as soon as they hit the T-Mobile network. The Category Manager feature gives users control over what types of calls are allowed to ring their phone, such as telemarketers or survey calls. The Reverse Number Lookup feature can also provide information about unknown numbers. Additionally, users can opt to receive voicemail to text messages containing readouts of blocked calls that were sent to voicemail.
