The supported video formats include popular choices such as MP4, MOV, and DRM-free M4V, as well as subtitles in formats like SMI and SRT. Additionally, users can access a broader range of video formats through real-time streaming, which encompasses multiple extensions like MKV, AVI, and more, although it's noted that DRM-protected videos from the iTunes store cannot be played.
Users can effortlessly add or access various items within the VRPlayer app, including the VRPlayer Helper, various folders, FTP servers, and cloud storage services such as Google Drive and Dropbox. The integration of VRPlayer Helper is unique, as it is embedded within the app and utilizes the user's iPhone's IP address for downloads rather than relying on an external web server. For successful downloads, both the iPhone and the server PC must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network, with clear instructions provided to facilitate this process.
