Xooloo Messenger Kids is an application designed to facilitate safe and fun communication for children. It offers audio and video calling features, allowing kids to stay connected with their friends through clear voice and video chats. The app also supports group calls, making it possible for multiple friends to join the conversation at once, enhancing social interaction among children in a secure environment.
Children can send text messages using their personalized Xavatar, a digital avatar they can create and customize to reflect their personal style. The app includes live animation features where kids can send fun effects like kisses, confetti, or custard pies to their friends' Xavatars, adding an element of playfulness to their conversations. Additionally, children can check their friends’ Xavatars whenever they want, making connections more visual and engaging without needing a SIM card, phone number, or Facebook account.
Another key feature is the ability to keep track of important dates such as birthdays. The app sends alerts when friends' birthdays are approaching and even provides surprises to celebrate these special days. Users can also share contacts with their friends, making it easier to connect with close friends, classmates, and family members like parents and grandparents, thereby facilitating new and existing relationships within a trusted network.
For safety, the app requires that invitations are only sent between known contacts—those who have the child's mobile number, email, or Xooloo ID. This ensures a secure environment where children are protected from unwanted interactions. Xooloo Messenger Kids is free to use, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Parental consent is mandatory for children under 13, and parents can access contact details but not view message content. Parents can also invite their children during onboarding and suggest contacts they can choose to accept or decline, maintaining control over their child's social interactions.
