Free accounts on xPal have access to unlimited secure end-to-end texting and unlimited secure audio calls, as well as 1 hour of secure video calls daily. This allows users to communicate with others from anywhere in the world, without worrying about their privacy being compromised.

The xPal app is easy to install and share, with only two simple steps required to create an account: choosing a username and setting a PIN code. Users do not need to provide their cell phone number or email to get their free xID. They can then invite their friends, family, or colleagues to get their own xIDs and start communicating securely.

xPal is designed for complete privacy, with measures in place to ensure that user data and personal information are not accessed, collected, traced, or stored. Users have control over who can contact them, with the option to only accept calls from xIDs in their xPal contacts.

The platform also offers features such as the ability to delete single messages or entire conversations from all participants, as well as the option to use a "Terminate" feature to delete all contact information and history from the other party's phone and block them from contacting you again. Additionally, the "Flicker" mode allows for disappearing messages, with the option to set a time limit for messages to be automatically deleted from both sender and receiver devices.

xPal also prioritizes the security of shared media, with a built-in Photo & Video Sanitizer feature that removes all metadata before encrypting and sending the media. The platform also uses a 4-digit PIN re-authentication system to ensure that user data is protected, with the option to temporarily disable it for 12 hours.

SINGLE MESSAGE OR ENTIRE CONVERSATION ERASE from all participants – The ability to delete any single text message, an entire conversation or chat history, on your device or from all participants so that no trace is left behind. Deleting entire conversations includes deleting the other party’s conversation with you on their own device as well.

Terminate™ Feature:
The power to delete your entire contact information and history from the other party’s phone,including their conversations with you on their device, and blocking them from contacting you again. .

Flicker™ Mode:
DISAPPEARING MESSAGES – This feature can be enabled on a per-chat basis. Use this security feature to automatically delete messages from both sender and receiver devices after a preset length of time after they are seen. You choose the life of the message, from 5 seconds to a day.

Total Wipeout™
REVERSE PIN FOR IMMEDIATE RESET PROTECTION – When you need a quick and total reset, use our exclusive one-step Reverse PIN security feature to permanently delete all your xPal message history on ALL devices. This includes all messages sent to others, as well as their own conversations with you, from their own phone. In addition, this feature will instantly block/mask information about your contacts, just like having a clean slate.

Photo & Video Sanitizer™
Built into xPal, this feature automatically strips all metadata from shared media before it is encrypted and sent. This protects all users from anyone else receiving shared media and accessing location, device information, or other metadata that could be stored in photos and videos.

4-DIGIT PIN RE-AUTHENTICATION is used every time the app is closed, the screen is locked, or the user’s phone is turned off. Can be temporarily disabled for 12-hours.

INFORMATION HANDLING
xPal never stores information about our users so we have no information to offer or give to any agency. There is no information that can ever be sold to anyone. xPal exists to support everyone’s right to privacy, anonymity, and freedom of expression!
