The Genesis Intelligent Assistant App offers a variety of remote vehicle management features designed to enhance convenience and safety for vehicle owners. Users can start their vehicle remotely, which is useful for pre-conditioning the interior climate or preparing the car before entering. Additionally, the app allows for searching and sending Points of Interest (POIs) directly to the vehicle, making navigation and travel planning easier. The app also provides the ability to lock or unlock doors remotely, giving users control over their vehicle’s security from afar.
Beyond basic remote controls, the app provides features to check the current lock status of doors, activate the horn or lights unexpectedly, and locate the vehicle. Users can also access their saved POIs, which simplifies trip planning and route management. The app facilitates vehicle maintenance and scheduling by enabling users to make service appointments and access Genesis Connected Services. It also offers vehicle health reports, keeping owners informed about the condition of their vehicle and upcoming maintenance needs.
The application integrates smart notifications and calendar functionalities. It can send calculated departure messages based on scheduled calendar events with locations, helping users plan their departures efficiently. The app proactively notifies users when to remotely start and cool or heat their vehicle, depending on the current weather conditions, ensuring a comfortable interior upon arrival. Additionally, it includes widgets for quick access to Remote Features, Parking, POI search, and other functions, offering a seamless user experience.
For added convenience, Genesis extends these remote features to wearable devices via the Smartwatch App, supporting Wear OS. Users can use voice commands or menu options on their smartwatch to start the vehicle, lock or unlock doors, activate horns and lights, find their car, or set parking meter reminders. The app requires Android version 4.5 or higher and an active Genesis Connected Services subscription for full functionality. Security measures prevent use on rooted devices, and technical support is available via email for assistance.
