However, the tranquility of their lives is shattered when a monster afflicted by a plague called "the Black Blight" attacks their village, causing significant destruction and emotional turmoil. After a year has passed, the hero gains a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief, officially becoming a Rider. Cheval and Lilia depart on their journeys, leaving the hero to team up with a new friend named Navirou as they take on new challenges and explore the exhilarating world of monster hunting.
