There are three distinct recording modes available to cater to different user needs. The STANDARD mode offers a straightforward interface for simple recordings. The INTERVIEW mode is specifically designed for situations involving two speakers, utilizing two microphones located at opposite ends of the device to capture both voices simultaneously. This mode also visualizes the audio in a dual waveform format, which is particularly useful for interviews. Lastly, the VOICE MEMO mode records spoken input and transcribes it as text on the screen, streamlining the process of note-taking and documentation.
Before starting a recording, users have the option to set a directory path if an external SD card is accessible. While recording, the app includes multiple features to enhance usability, such as the ability to reject incoming calls to avoid distractions, bookmark significant moments in the recording, and even support background recording by pressing the HOME button. This ensures that users can continue their tasks without interruption while still capturing audio content.
After a recording is completed and saved, users have several options for managing their recordings through a Recordings LIST. They can launch either a mini player or a full player that comes with built-in sound controls, including functions for skipping muted segments, adjusting play speed, and repeating sections. Additional features allow users to rename or delete recordings and share them via various platforms, such as email or messaging applications. It is important to note that this application is a preloaded app for Samsung devices and may not support certain models or versions of Android.
